Amiguitos

Our brains are primed for language-learning. This is something that comes naturally to us and isn't something that we have to sit down and 'study'.

We learn language by being involved in daily life and making meaning from what we see, hear and do.

​

​At Crumb & Bass Amiguitos, we run our sessions in exactly the same way as we would in English- we sing and dance with props, play games, listen to music and enjoy home-made cake (or flapjacks, cookies or tiffin- depending on what I've made this week), hot drinks and snacks for the children.

​

These sessions are also suitable for Spanish speaking families who want to involve their children in everyday activities that promote and celebrate their mother-tongue; something that can be difficult when it's sometimes easier to speak in English.

​

Home-educated children are also encouraged to join us. There is no age limit, and all sessions will be a mixture of babies, toddlers, children and adults. Singing familiar songs (think Cabeza, Hombros, Rodillas y Dedos/ Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes), plus learning new ones, will help to cement new words and phrases.

We are always looking for feedback and suggestions, so if you would like to have a 'Crumb & Bass Amiguitos' in your town/ city, please do let us know. Alternatively, if a different day would be beneficial, we're always happy to create more sessions.

Would you like to see 'Crumb & Bass' in your chosen language? Plans are in place for creating new sessions in French and Italian, but the options are endless and if we know there's demand- then we'll make it happen.

Spanish lessons for children Cambridge
